Tom McDaniel grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia.  He graduated from York High School and the United States Air Force Academy. His college degrees are in psychology, logistics management and international relations. He is a retired Air Force Colonel, who held key policy positions within NATO and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He has been a ghostwriter for numerous flag officers and the principal author of Combat Support Doctrine and the Commander’s Handbook for an Effects-Based Approach to Joint Operations.
